The Teaching of Writing
Writing Spring Term One
This half term has been extremely busy for all year groups with writing being exciting and creative. Classes have shown that they can produce lengthy and sustained pieces of writing around a theme or concept, such as story writing about plant life cycles to show the scientific knowledge acquired. Application of these ideas means that the children of LPPA are applying knowledge that’s taught. In the curriculum corridors the new boards highlight the expectations and outstanding work that has been produced in writing. We are creative writers at LPPA and we want to celebrate this.
