Ofsted Inspection | 17th and 18th September 2019
18 November 2019 (by Caroline Dansey (CarolineDansey))
A full inspection took place on the 17th and 18th September 2019, which is available to view on the school website. The academy achieved a ‘good’ in all areas with the first paragraph a very positive summary of your child’s school experience;
‘Pupils at this school work hard and enjoy their learning. They happily attend school, knowing that they are safe and well cared for. They particularly enjoy their well- structured lunchtimes where they can take part in sports, use the trim trail, run around the ‘Lubbins Lap’ and play with friends’.
This inspection outcome is particularly impressive when we consider that before converting into an academy three years ago, Lubbins Park was the lowest performing mainstream school in Essex. The improvement has been brought about by a huge collective team effort from our teaching, admin, support staff, midday assistants and Governors with the positive support and backing of you, the parents and carers, as well as your children who really impressed the inspection team with their enthusiasm, maturity and work ethic. They are a real credit to you and the school.
