Welcome to Lubbins Park Primary Academy School. We are very pleased that you are thinking of choosing us as your child’s school, or that you have already chosen us. We want to make you feel welcome, to help your child to settle quickly and for the learning experiences to provide a firm basis for learning in the future.
As a school we have high expectations of our children and believe that a strong link between school and home is critical in achieving excellence. We are committed to providing every child with the ingredients for success both academically and socially and value the contribution of everyone in our school community. We endeavour to provide opportunities which both challenge and excite with learning at the heart of all that we do.

The Year 5 children have all safely arrived at their destination and are now enjoying themselves participating in their first activity.
- World Book Week dress up day
As part of this years World Book Week the children are invited to attend school on Friday 9th March, in fancy dress. This years theme is spies and mysteries.
- Bedtime Stories
As part of this years Book Week the children are invited back into school on Thursday 8th March 5.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. to share a bedtime story with their class teachers.
- Year 3 Roman Day
In keeping with this years World Book Day theme and the Year 3 termly topic, the children are invited to attend school on Friday 9th March dressed either In a Toga or within the theme spies and mysteries.
- Cross Country
Please note that due to the recent adverse weather conditions, the Cross Country Competition has been postponed until further notice.
