Forest School

Our school believes in delivering Forest School because it gives children opportunities to learn outdoors, explore nature and develop skills beyond the classroom.

The school’s outdoor provision is designed to:

  • Encourage curiosity, creativity and independence.

  • Help children develop confidence, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

  • Support well-being, providing a calm woodland environment.

  • Encourage children to take risks, which prepare them for life's challenges.

  • Give children practical opportunities to explore and care for the natural environment.

  • Support the school’s aim of developing children who are successful, creative and kind, while becoming independent learners.

We provide a calm woodland environment where pupils can take part in forest-based activities and sensory experiences. Forest School helps Lubbins Park children learn through nature and practical experiences while building their confidence, independence, creativity and social skills.
