Daniel Wilson | Chair Governor

Appointment Date: 1st September 2026

Dan is in a strategic leadership role for a large hospitality business that operates across the UK and Europe. As a chef for over 20 years, Dan has developed skills in leadership, stakeholder engagement, and organisational oversight, enabling him to support the school in achieving its priorities. He is committed to working collaboratively with school leaders and fellow governors, using his skills and experience to help drive high standards. 

Dan is passionate about the role education plays in shaping opportunities and outcomes for young people. He is particularly focused on ensuring that the school provides a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

Donna Brown | Inclusion and Achievement Governor

Appointment Date: 1st September 2026

Donna has over ten years experience working across both mainstream and specialist education and currently works at a local SEND school. Her professional background has given her extensive knowledge of inclusive practice and supporting children with a wide range of educational needs.

Prior to her career in education, Donna worked at the Institute of Directors in London as the Examinations and Chartered Director Coordinator, where she gained valuable experience in professional development, training and quality assurance. 

As the parent of a child at the school, Donna is passionate about supporting the school community and helping to ensure that every child has the opportunity to flourish. Donna is particularly passionate about SEND and inclusion and is committed to championing an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Tracy Cadogan | Curriculum and EYFS Governor

Appointment Date: 1st September 2026

Tracy has 16 years experience working in retails, including 10 years as a shop manager. After having children, she became a full-time mum and has remained closely involved with Lubbins Park Primary Academy, where both of her children attended. She has supported the school for several years through volunteering and now serves as an active member and co-chair of the successful Friends of Lubbins Park PTA.

James Fairman | Safeguarding and Attendance & Behaviour Governor

Appointment Date: 1st September 2026

James is employed in law enforcement and specialises in safeguarding children and young people who are at risk of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

Throughout his career James has worked closely with schools, local authorities and partner agencies to protect vulnerable children, manage safeguarding concerns and improve outcomes for young people. His role involves identifying and reducing risk, supporting children and families, and working collaboratively with professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

James wishes to use his professional experience in safeguarding and partnership working to contribute positively to the continued success of the school and help ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.
