Lubbins Park Nursery is very much a part of our main school and provides a secure and stimulating environment for all children to learn, play and flourish.

We pride ourselves on our wonderful indoor and outdoor provision and have an extensive artificial grass, bark and paved area for the children to explore their surroundings and transport their learning outside.

It is carefully organised to create meaningful hands-on experiences and enable children to develop and demonstrate characteristics of effective learning. Children at our nursery feel safe and are happy, which allows them to play and therefore learn well.

Our nursery is well-resourced and includes a mud kitchen, Role Play Stage, Climbing Frame, Construction area and Forest garden, with its own growing patch. 

Our qualified practitioners assist children by nurturing, inspiring and supporting them and by creating  an environment that encourages them to develop. Many of the activities, routines and skills your child learns at our nursery, will help to prepare them for school and ease their transition.

Children at our Nursery participate in structured PE lessons with our Reception class.

We enrol children from the term after their third birthday and government funding is available for 15 hour and 30 hour. For children who receive 15 hour funding, our morning sessions run from 8:45am – 11:45am and our afternoon sessions are from 12:15pm-15:15. It may be possible for your child to stay for an additional 3-hour session however, parents and carers will be required to pay for this. This charge is set at £20 per session.

Children who receive 30 hours funding will attend a full day session from 8:45am – 15:15 and will stay for lunch. Please provide your child with a healthy packed lunch. The cost for your child to stay for lunch is £1 per day.

Our Nursery children wear our Lubbins Park school uniform but are not required to wear a tie or shirt, they may wear a polo top instead.

We are always happy to give you a tour of the setting and offer a toddler session every Thursday: 9:15-10:15am, should you wish to join us for that too. Please call the office to book.
